Who We Are

The Hampton Roads Military and Federal Facilities Alliance (HRMFFA) is an initiative of the Hampton Roads Mayors and Chairs Caucus. The Alliance was established to collectively focus area efforts on preserving and growing Federal capabilities within the Hampton Roads region.  HRMFFA was incorporated within the Commonwealth of Virginia in March 2006 under the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 as a tax exempt, not-for-profit 501c(4) organization.

Our Mission

The mission of the HRMFFA is to protect, sustain and grow military and federal capabilities in Hampton Roads for the common good and welfare of the residents of Hampton Roads. Through regional advocacy and influence the Alliance acts to retain and attract organizations, capabilities, and investments owned, operated or funded by the Federal government.
